On June 8, ART Center students were treated to a karate lesson led by instructor George Johnson at the United Studios of Self Defense.

Students tried a variety of offensive and defensive moves with Mr. Johnson and had a great time demonstrating their skills.

In May 2007, Eagle Scout candidate Brian Duggan designed, built, and donated two mobile gardening carts for ART Center students' use as they take care of their plants indoors and outdoors.

Students use the carts to store and transport tools, pots, soil, etc. for use in their ongoing horticultural projects.

The ART Center students thank Brian for his support in their efforts to beautify the ART Center and their community, and wish him success in his quest to become an eagle scout!
