Overview

We Believe. . . an informed and supportive community must play a vital role in removing the barriers to full involvement and inclusion.

This is one of the statements in the Arts & Services for Disabled, Inc. mission that supports our value in strategic community partnerships that will interface together with us to create and build stronger networks and resources. This concept will allow ASD to support our students with disabilities to further discover and envision a life of quality and ensure that these quality programs continue to provide these greatly needed opportunities. We invite you to take a look at the “Many Faces” of how to get involved whether you are a community member, part of a corporation, agency, service group, philanthropy, university association, community business, and on and on…the sky is the limit when it comes to the plethora of ideas and opportunities for project collaboration and volunteerism. We come together for one reason-in the creative spirit of human services for the health and well-being of everyone involved. Research states that volunteering just 4 hours a week raises your feeling of self worth and quality of life. When everyone does their part, the world is a beautiful place! If you don’t have time to volunteer, there are many other options! We believe in sharing our experiences to continue to provide the community with the awareness of the breadth of possibilities that all of us can create as an informed and involved community. Take a look and see what might appeal to your heart~
